Hi fellow travellers,  I have been trawling a community Paper Craft Planet and a name jumped out at me WiccaBabe.  Well that rang true to me so I checked out her blog and low and behold she has some amazing photos of a sunset through bare trees (bare or dead trees are my most favourite thing) You should check out her blog http://wiccababe.blogspot.com/2009/01/birthday-blog-candy.html  Walk throughout your day with beauty.

New Stuff

January 18th, 2009 -- Posted in Uncategorized | 160 Comments »

Hello fellow travellers I made some new journals to sell at the markets and some new decorated tins but smaller for pens etc.  I didn’t take photos of the smaller tins and I sold two today but I did take photos of my new journals.  I really have to extract the digit before then next market and it is going to be really difficult as we are moving house next week so creative time will be minimised.  Take a look at my new journals aren’t they cute?  People looked at them at the markets and commented on how beautiful they were but no one appeared to have dollars to spend of extravegances today but I will not get despondent, there is always the next market.

This one above is one I made my daughter as an extra christmas pressie and she chose the paper etc and she absolutely loved it.  It’s very blingy which is what she likes.  I also liked it so i may have to make one for myself I think.

On to another fav subject of mine . . . . my grandchildren of course.  I have been snap happy lately with my little baby grandchildren.  They are all so adorable in their own unique way and I am so lucky to have Sophia live with us so I can see her as much as I want whereby when Courtney and Paul moved out I was on rations with being able to see my other grandchildren as I do have to leave them alone sometimes lol.  Take a look at my beautiful grandaughter and judge for yourself.

Casual dining at its best lol.

The apple of Poppa’s eye!

Well that’s it for today I think unless of course something eventful happens on by before tomorrow of course.  Enjoy the rest of your day trendsetters.

Another Journal Finished and other stuff

January 13th, 2009 -- Posted in Uncategorized | 158 Comments »

Well here it is another day in Paradise.  I’m sorry for not posting for some days but we have been looking for another house to rent.  We found one but we have to find another tenant for this house as we are breaking our lease.  Hopefully tomorrow when another couple look through, they will be the ones and then we can move to our new abode.

I have been decorating candles and making another journal but nothing else of any consequence.  I have been sitting at the computer looking at all the amazing blogs for the last week and I have totally decided that what Tim Holtz creates is the way I want to go.  I have loved everything he has created so I need to come up with about $300 to purchase his products and the Ranger inks etc and his beautiful rubber stamps, embellishments, grungeboard and masks as well as his inks and other fantastic stuff.  I hope I can source an Australian wholesaler in the near future….keep your fingers crossed for me!!

I tried to load the pics of the latest journal and more photos of my little grandaughter but they would not load for some reason.  I just tried again but no go.  I will have to get my amazing son in law to have a look tomorrow for me and I will post the pics hopefully then.  Keep smiling trendsetters.

New Journal - Finished

January 4th, 2009 -- Posted in Uncategorized | 182 Comments »

Finally finished Courtneys’ journal that I had promised her.  The covers have owls on them - her favourite of course and it is for her wool dye recipes which she is creating.  I must say they are fantastic.  Don’t believe me?  Take a look and decide for yourself lol http://ravenscauldron.blogspot.com/ She is creating some fantastic colourways lately and they are selling before she can load them up to her online store which is fantastic.  Here are some photos of the finished journal above.  Enjoy!!

What A Slow Day!!!

January 4th, 2009 -- Posted in Uncategorized | 93 Comments »

It’s Sunday and man what a slow day it’s turning out to be.  I finally dismantled the Christmas tree today and it is finally packed away until the end of this year.  Courtney, my eldest daughter is starting to make a name for herself in the world of wool and knitting etc….it’s about time but you know true success takes time when you are talented. My world of beautiful stamps, papers and embellishments are very unstructured and sometimes I find it hard to create when things are too messy just take a look at my space above and judge for yourself!!

On Friday Courtney, Ashleigh, the grandchildren and I went out to Sonya’s to have a crafty creative day and man what a bad idea lol but it was fun.  Elijah is getting his 2 year old molars, Lily was unsettled,  Sophia was quiet but not wanting to sleep, Ashleigh was sick with the flu and Courtney could not relax due to her kids being upset.  What a day but hey you gotta roll with the punches when there are children don’t you?  I, however managed to get something made and I helped Ash get her address book made for Sonya which was her chrissy present (a little late I know) which she loved.  But Sonya had her best time on the floor picking up blocks and collecting them from under the furniture lol.  I took a pic of her and told her I was putting it on my blog and she said you wouldn’t dare……after 13 years you would think she would learn not to dare me to do anything hehehehehe  I love her to pieces she is undoubtedly the best thing to ever happen to me and my girls.

She is beautiful isn’t she?  I mean it she is the most genuine person I have ever met, the most beautiful soul.  She would do anything for her friends and has often done so for me.  I would not have coped with some of my major life stuff without her.  My life is all the richer for having her in it!!

Have to go and try and create at my work space.  I might even break out the new Cuttlebug that I got for my birthday/christmas pressie from Ash.  If I create beauty this arvo I will post it up here for all to see.
